Product suitability should be verified with the actual item, source imagery, variants, and theme template. Do not assume that every product in a broad category will produce the same experience.Product validation checklist
For each representative product, check:- the intended product and variant are clear;
- source images accurately show the item;
- the Try On button appears over the main product image;
- the generated preview appears in the same product-image area;
- instructions are understandable;
- processing, failure, and retry states work;
- the result sets reasonable expectations;
- add to cart and variant selection still work afterward;
- mobile and desktop behavior are acceptable.
What can affect suitability?
- incomplete or inconsistent product imagery;
- unusual cuts, layering, or construction;
- complex accessories or non-apparel items;
- customized product templates;
- variant images that do not match the selected option;
- source photos that differ from the delivered product.
What if a product does not work well?
Check the product data and images, reproduce the issue on another device, and record the product URL, selected variant, source image, and steps. Exclude the product from rollout until the experience is understood and acceptable.Choosing Products
