Customize the Button in Your Dashboard

Customize the Try On button to match your brand using the Looksy dashboard.

Available Customizations

​
Button Text

Default: “Try On” Alternatives:
  • “See it on you”
  • “Virtual try-on”
  • “Try it on”
  • “Preview on yourself”
  • Custom text of your choice
Best practice: Keep it short (2-4 words) and action-oriented.

Button Colors

What you can customize:
  • Background color
  • Text color
  • Button styling
Best practice: Choose colors that match your brand and contrast well for visibility.

Corner Position

Options:
  • Top left (default)
  • Top right
Best practice: Choose based on your product image layout and other overlays.

How to Customize

  1. Go to your Looksy dashboard
  2. Click “Customize Button”
  3. Adjust the following:
    • Button text
    • Button colors (background, text)
    • Corner position (top left or top right)
  4. Click “Save”
Changes apply to all products automatically on both desktop and mobile.

Customization Limits

You can only customize:
  • Button text
  • Button colors
  • Corner position
You cannot customize:
  • Button location (fixed on product image)
  • CSS styling beyond dashboard settings
  • Modal appearance
  • Upload area styling
  • Fonts or typography
  • Animations
All customization is done via the Looksy dashboard. You cannot add custom CSS or code to further customize the button.

Testing Your Customization

After customizing:
  1. Visit a product page on your live store
  2. Check that button appears with your styling
  3. Click button to verify try-on works
  4. Test on mobile to confirm it looks good
Customization applies automatically to desktop, mobile, and tablet. No separate testing needed.

No. You can only customize via the Looksy dashboard settings (text, colors, corner position). Custom CSS is not supported.
