Virtual try-on in Lithuanian
Lithuanian appears among the 47 languages Looksy's Shopify App Store listing enumerates. For merchants with Lithuanian-speaking customers, here is what is verified, what remains unpublished, and how to set your store up honestly.
Lithuanian shoppers and your product pages
Lithuanian is the official language of Lithuania and, with Latvian, one of the two surviving Baltic languages. Linguists often describe it as among the most conservative living Indo-European languages, retaining features other branches lost long ago. It is written in the Latin alphabet with distinctive diacritics — the nasal-vowel ogoneks ą, ę, į and ų alongside ė, ū, č, š and ž. It is also heavily inflected: nouns change endings by case, which affects how product names and headlines read once translated.
What Looksy's language support covers
On the Shopify App Store, Looksy's listing counts 47 supported languages and names Lithuanian among them. It does not publish how far the translation reaches — shopper-facing try-on interface versus merchant dashboard is left unstated. So treat the enumeration as a starting point: install on the Free plan, open a product page, and see for yourself what a Lithuanian-speaking shopper is shown. Keep in mind that the core output is visual — a photo of the shopper in your product — which works identically whatever language surrounds it.
Setting up for Lithuanian-speaking shoppers
First confirm Lithuanian is a published language for your storefront in Shopify's admin. Looksy's widget is a theme app extension block, added through the theme editor without touching theme code and removed cleanly if you uninstall. With that in place, use the Free plan's unlimited try-ons to walk the whole flow yourself: upload a photo, read the microcopy around the widget, and check that ą, ė, į, ū and the other diacritics render properly in your theme's typefaces on both desktop and mobile.
The try-on flow in any language
Whatever the storefront language, the flow is one uploaded photo and a result on the product page in around 20 seconds — no app install, no account, no camera permission. Shoppers can retry with a different photo, give feedback, and download or share what they see. Plans run from Free (unlimited try-ons, Looksy branding, up to $100 additional revenue) through Starter at $14.99 and Growth at $29 to Scale at $79 per month, the tier that includes realtime video try-on. Shopify handles the usage-based billing; there are no contracts.
