1. Information We Collect
a. Personal Information

When you create an account or use Looksy, we may collect details such as:

  • Your name, email address, and payment information

  • Information provided during registration or while using our virtual try-on and Studio features

b. Usage Data

We also collect non-personal data automatically, including:

  • IP address, browser type, device information

  • Pages visited, clicks, and overall interaction patterns

This data helps us improve our services and enhance the user experience.

c. Shopper Data from Merchant Storefronts (Looksy Shopify App)

When shoppers use Looksy’s virtual try-on inside a merchant’s Shopify store, we process the following on the merchant’s behalf:

  • Try-on photos: photos are processed transiently to generate the try-on image and are never stored on our servers, not even temporarily. They are never used to train AI models.

  • Live video try-on: when this optional feature is enabled and a shopper chooses to use it, the browser sends the live camera stream directly to our real-time AI service provider, Decart, to generate the live try-on. Looksy does not receive or store the raw camera stream or the replay on its servers. The replay remains in the current browser page unless the shopper chooses to download it. Decart may process the video, generated output and associated technical data under its privacy policy. Shoppers can cancel before granting camera access. Read Decart’s Privacy Policy.

  • Try-on analytics: pseudonymous usage events, such as completed try-ons, add-to-carts and, where the merchant has enabled purchase analytics, purchased items (product, quantity and price). These events are linked only to a one-way hashed visitor identifier. We do not collect shopper names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses or payment details through these events.

  • Size recommendations: body measurements a shopper chooses to enter and the resulting size recommendation, stored against the same hashed identifier to provide the feature. This information is only shared with the merchant’s marketing tools where the shopper has given explicit marketing consent.

Looksy uses the analytics and size-recommendation data described above only to provide merchants with try-on, conversion and revenue analytics and related features for their own store. Looksy does not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Collection respects Shopify’s customer privacy and consent signals, and analytics records are automatically deleted on a rolling 180-day retention schedule.

2. How We Use Your Information
