What a month of Looksy actually costs

A worked cost table for Looksy’s three paid plans at seven monthly try-on volumes. Starter is cheapest through 200 try-ons, Growth takes over at 201, and Growth and Scale tie at 1,300 with Scale cheaper beyond that.

How each figure is calculated

Each figure below is plan price plus overage. Starter is $14.99 per month with 100 photo try-on credits included; extra try-ons cost $0.14 each. Growth is $29 with 300 credits included and $0.12 per extra. Scale is $79 with 600 credits included and $0.10 per extra. Under the allowance you pay the plan price only. The one input you need is your own monthly try-on count — Looksy’s analytics show what shoppers try on, add to cart, and buy, so read the number there rather than guessing. Looksy publishes no engagement benchmarks, so there is no typical rate to borrow.

Example of the arithmetic: Starter at 200 try-ons is $14.99 plus 100 overage credits at $0.14, which is $14.00, for $28.99.

Where the plans cross over

Starter stays cheapest through exactly 200 try-ons: at 200 it costs $28.99, one cent under Growth’s flat $29. At 201 try-ons Starter reaches $29.13 and Growth takes over. Growth then holds a long lead. At 800 try-ons it beats Scale by $10.00; at 1,200 the gap narrows to $2.00. The lines cross at 1,300 try-ons, where both plans cost exactly $149.00 — Growth as $29 plus 1,000 overage credits at $0.12, Scale as $79 plus 700 overage credits at $0.10. From 1,301 try-ons upward, Scale is the cheaper plan. On price alone, none of the seven volumes in the table justify Scale.

What price alone doesn’t settle

Price is not the only constraint. Starter covers up to $500 of additional revenue and Growth up to $1,000; if Looksy-attributed revenue passes your plan’s allowance, that forces the upgrade before the credit math does. Scale removes the revenue cap, and it is the only plan with Realtime video try-on — its 600 credits can be photo or video, while the table above treats every volume as photo try-ons. At the bottom end, the Free plan offers unlimited try-ons at $0 with Looksy branding and up to $100 of additional revenue. Pull two numbers from your own store before choosing: monthly try-on volume and Looksy-attributed revenue.
