Affiliate Program Terms

These terms govern participation in the Looksy affiliate program administered through Shoffi. By joining the program or using a Looksy affiliate link, you agree to these terms.

1. Affiliate reward

Looksy pays $1 USD for each Qualifying Install tracked through Shoffi and later validated and approved by Looksy. Only one install reward may be earned per independent merchant business and store.

Any revenue-share commission or other reward is governed by the program terms displayed for Looksy in Shoffi when the referral is made.

2. Qualifying Install

A “Qualifying Install” is the first successful installation of Looksy, attributed through a valid Shoffi referral link, by a genuine and independent merchant for use on that merchant’s live business store. At the time of validation, the store must be active on a paid Shopify subscription and Looksy must have remained installed continuously for at least 30 days. A paid Looksy subscription or minimum Looksy spend is not required unless the Shoffi program settings expressly state otherwise.

The following do not qualify:

• Shopify Partner development stores and all development, demo, staging, preview, staff, or test stores.

• Stores that are not active on a paid Shopify subscription, including trial, paused, frozen, cancelled, unpublished, or otherwise inactive stores.

• Self-referrals and stores owned, operated, controlled, or created by the affiliate, its staff, household, nominees, related companies, or other connected persons.

• Duplicate installations, reinstalls, repeat installations by the same merchant or business, or installations removed before completing the 30-day validation period.

• Installations generated through bots, scripts, automation, cookie stuffing, forced redirects, artificial traffic, or stores created primarily to collect the install reward.

• Installations obtained by paying or rewarding the merchant merely to install, or any fake, fraudulent, manipulated, misleading, or otherwise unverifiable installation.

A genuine client store may qualify where it is independently owned by a real merchant and Looksy is installed for genuine business use. A development store may qualify only after it has been transferred to that merchant, activated on a paid Shopify subscription, and completed the full 30-day validation period.

3. Attribution

Attribution is determined using Shoffi’s records and tracking rules. Shoffi currently applies a 30-day attribution window to referral links, subject to its technical requirements, including same-device attribution.

4. Validation and reversals

Any install reward shown in Shoffi is provisional until Looksy completes validation. Looksy may verify store type, Shopify subscription status, merchant and affiliate ownership, attribution, first-install status, continuous installation for 30 days, and evidence of genuine business use. Looksy may withhold, reject, cancel, or reverse a reward where an installation is ineligible, duplicated, incorrectly attributed, fraudulent, manipulated, removed early, or cannot be verified. Shoffi recording or crediting a CPI reward does not by itself create an obligation for Looksy to pay it. Misuse may result in suspension or removal from the program.

5. Payouts

Shoffi provides referral tracking, balance reporting, and payout-request administration. Affiliates may request a payout after reaching the minimum withdrawal amount displayed for the Looksy program in Shoffi. Looksy is responsible for sending only validated and approved payments; no payment is due for a provisional or ineligible reward. Affiliates are responsible for accurate payment information and any taxes or fees applicable to their earnings.

6. Promotion standards

Affiliates must promote Looksy lawfully, honestly, and without misleading claims, impersonation, spam, forced redirects, cookie stuffing, or manipulation of referral tracking. Affiliates may earn commission for introducing a genuine merchant, but must not pay or otherwise reward a merchant merely to install Looksy. Affiliates must never offer or connect any payment, benefit, or install reward to a Shopify App Store review, review rating, or change to a review.

7. Changes to these terms

Looksy may update these terms or program rewards. Changes apply prospectively to new referrals made after the updated terms take effect. Existing qualifying referrals remain governed by the terms and Shoffi settings applicable when those referrals were made.
