What is the difference between Looksy plans?

Looksy has four plans: Free, Starter ($14.99/mo), Growth ($29/mo), and Scale ($79/mo). They differ on monthly credits, the additional-revenue cap, branding, and whether Realtime video try-on is included. Billing is usage-based through Shopify, with no contracts.

The four plans at a glance

Looksy offers four tiers. Free costs nothing and includes unlimited try-ons with up to $100 of additional revenue. Starter is $14.99 per month with 100 photo try-on credits and up to $500 of additional revenue. Growth is $29 per month with 300 photo credits and up to $1,000 of additional revenue. Scale is $79 per month with 600 credits usable for photo or video, unlimited additional revenue, and Realtime video try-on. All four are monthly plans billed through Shopify; there is no annual option and no contract to sign.

Credits and overage pricing

The Free plan lists unlimited try-ons rather than a credit allowance, alongside its $100 additional-revenue cap. Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance and let you buy additional credits when it runs out: Starter includes 100 photo credits with extra credits at $0.14 each, Growth includes 300 at $0.12, and Scale includes 600 at $0.10. The per-credit price falls as you move up, so a store doing heavy try-on volume pays less per result on a higher tier even before counting the larger allowance.

Features that unlock at each tier

Branding is the first split: the Free plan includes Looksy branding, and its removal is listed from Starter up. Starter also unlocks unlimited size help built on your own size charts, bundles and upsells, and email capture that connects to Klaviyo or Shopify Flow. Growth adds volume rather than features — more credits, a higher revenue cap, cheaper overage. Scale is the only plan with Realtime video try-on and the only one whose credits can be spent on video as well as photo. If a specific feature such as analytics matters to your choice, confirm its availability on your tier in the app or on the current listing.

How the additional-revenue caps shape upgrades

Each plan lists a cap on additional revenue: $100 on Free, $500 on Starter, $1,000 on Growth, and no cap on Scale. Exactly what happens when you reach a cap — whether try-on pauses or you are prompted to upgrade — is worth confirming in the app or with Looksy support. The practical upgrade math is simpler: if your overage spend approaches the gap between your current price and the next tier’s, the upgrade pays for itself in cheaper credits and a higher cap. Plans are monthly with no contracts; how a mid-cycle plan change or downgrade is handled is another question for the app or support.
