What is additional revenue in Looksy plans?

Additional revenue is the sales Looksy attributes to its features. Each plan caps it: up to $100 on Free, $500 on Starter, $1,000 on Growth, and unlimited on Scale. How sales are counted is not published — confirm the rules in-app.

The caps on each Looksy plan

Every Looksy plan pairs a try-on allowance with an additional revenue cap. The Free plan includes unlimited try-ons with Looksy branding and up to $100 of additional revenue. Starter, at $14.99 per month, includes 100 photo try-on credits and up to $500. Growth, at $29, includes 300 photo credits and up to $1,000. Scale, at $79, includes 600 photo or video credits, Realtime video try on, and no revenue cap at all. So there are two meters to watch: how many try-ons you generate, and how much revenue the app is credited with driving.

How a sale gets counted as additional revenue

Looksy does not publish its attribution model on the app listing, so the honest answer is: check in-app. Before you compare plans on the revenue caps, confirm three things inside the app or with Looksy support — which shopper actions tie a purchase to Looksy (a try-on, a bundle click, a size suggestion), how long after that action a purchase still counts, and whether the counted figure is the full order or just the tried-on item. Those details decide how fast you approach a cap, and they matter more than the headline dollar amounts.

What a revenue cap meters that credits do not

Credits meter usage; the revenue cap meters value. That gives each plan two different dials: how many try-ons shoppers generate, and how much revenue the app records against its features. In practice, your Looksy bill scales with the value the app is credited with driving, not only with how often shoppers use it — a store testing the feature on the Free plan pays nothing, while the paid tiers are sized for stores where attributed sales keep climbing. The caps also act as a rough built-in ROI check: any time you reach one, the revenue Looksy credits to its features is running well above that plan’s monthly price.

What to do as you approach a cap

Watch attributed revenue the way you watch remaining credits. Looksy’s analytics show what shoppers try on, add to cart, and buy; confirm in-app where the attributed-revenue figure itself is displayed, what happens when you reach the cap — whether features pause, branding changes, or you are simply prompted to upgrade — and when the meter resets. None of that is spelled out on the public listing. If attributed revenue runs consistently near a cap, price the next tier against the sales at stake; moving from Growth to Scale, for example, removes the cap entirely.
