How does try-on email capture work?

During a try-on, Looksy can ask the shopper for their email address and pass it to Klaviyo or Shopify Flow. Looksy captures the address; the follow-up is built and sent in the tools you already run.

Where the ask sits in the try-on flow

The shopper has uploaded a photo and is looking at themselves wearing your product, in the browser, on your product page. The email ask happens inside that experience rather than as a separate pop-up. It is a light request: try-on needs no account and no app download, so the address is the only thing being asked for. Shoppers can retry, download and share their results, so the ask lands while the result is still on screen — the moment many of them want to keep or send what they have just made.

What Klaviyo and Shopify Flow do with the address

Looksy collects the address; the sending happens elsewhere. Connect Klaviyo and captured emails land there, ready for whatever segments and flows you already run. Prefer to stay inside Shopify, and Shopify Flow can pick the address up instead. Keeping the sending in your existing tools is the point — consent, unsubscribes and sender reputation stay in one place, under rules you already manage. Pair it with Looksy's analytics, which show what shoppers try on, add to cart and buy, and you have enough context to decide what a sensible follow-up looks like for your store.

Which plans include email capture

Email capture is included from the Starter plan at $14.99 a month, which also brings 100 photo try-on credits, unlimited size help and bundles. It remains included on Growth at $29 and Scale at $79. The Free plan gives unlimited try-ons with Looksy branding but does not list email capture, so if list growth is part of why you want try-on, Starter is the entry point. There is no separate charge for capture itself, no annual billing and no hidden tier — pricing is the four monthly plans, plus additional try-on credits on paid plans if you need them.

How to measure what captured addresses are worth

Looksy does not publish capture rates or revenue-per-address figures, and a single number would be wrong for most stores anyway. Measure it on your own list: keep Looksy-captured addresses in their own Klaviyo segment or tag their source, route them through a dedicated flow, and read Klaviyo's revenue attribution for that flow. In Shopify Flow, tag the customers and follow the tag through your reports. After a month you have real answers — how many addresses arrived, what they opened, what they bought — from your store rather than from a marketing average.
