You cancel or change a Looksy plan through Shopify, not a separate billing site. Billing is usage-based with no contracts, so you can move between Free, Starter, Growth, and Scale — or uninstall — whenever you choose.
Where Looksy billing actually lives
Looksy charges through Shopify’s app billing system, so plan fees and any usage charges — such as additional photo credits at the per-credit rate for your plan — appear on your regular Shopify bill rather than on a separate invoice. There are no contracts, and each paid tier (Starter at $14.99 per month, Growth at $29, Scale at $79) is a monthly subscription you manage from your own store. Because the subscription lives inside Shopify, cancelling or switching is a Shopify admin task, not a call to a billing department.
Switching between plans
To move up or down a tier, open Looksy from your Shopify admin and look for its plan or pricing screen; approving a new plan replaces the old subscription through Shopify’s standard billing flow. Shopify generally prorates app subscription changes mid-cycle, crediting unused time on the old plan against the new one. Before switching, check in the app how your remaining credit balance and the plan’s additional-revenue allowance are handled across the change — plan pages state the numbers, but carry-over behavior is worth confirming in-app or with Looksy support.
Cancelling: downgrade to Free or uninstall
You have two ways to stop paying. The first is downgrading to the Free plan, which keeps try-on live with unlimited try-ons, Looksy branding, and a cap of $100 in additional revenue — useful if you want to pause spending without removing the feature. The second is uninstalling the app from the Apps section of Shopify admin, which ends the subscription under Shopify’s standard app billing behavior. Because Looksy is a theme app extension, uninstalling also removes its storefront block cleanly, with no leftover code in your theme.
What to check before you change anything
A few details are worth confirming before you switch or cancel. Check your remaining photo (or, on Scale, video) credits and what happens to them at the change — Looksy’s plan pages list allowances, but timing matters. Note which features you would lose moving down: branding removal, unlimited size help, bundles, and email capture start at Starter, and Realtime video try-on is Scale-only.
