Does try-on affect my Shopify bill?
No. Looksy never changes your Shopify subscription price. It is billed as a separate app charge through Shopify — Free at $0, Starter $14.99, Growth $29, or Scale $79 per month, plus any additional credits you use.
Two separate charges, both billed through Shopify
Your Shopify plan fee and your Looksy charge are independent. Shopify bills its own subscription as usual; Looksy's charge goes through Shopify's app billing, so it shows up on your Shopify bill rather than as a separate card charge from a third party. Changing your Looksy plan — upgrading, downgrading, or cancelling — does not move you between Shopify plans, and changing your Shopify plan does not change what Looksy costs. The two numbers meet only on the bill Shopify sends you.
What the Looksy line item can be
Looksy's published prices are the only recurring charges: Free at $0, Starter at $14.99 per month, Growth at $29, and Scale at $79. There is no annual option and no contract, so the line item is monthly and stops when you cancel. On the Free plan there is no Looksy charge at all — try-ons are unlimited, with Looksy branding on results and up to $100 of additional revenue before upgrading becomes the question.
Where usage charges come from
Beyond the flat plan fee, the only variable charge is additional credits: $0.14 each on Starter, $0.12 on Growth, and $0.10 on Scale. These are usage-based and billed through Shopify like the plan fee itself. If your bill comes in higher than the flat plan price, extra credits are the likely reason — check credit usage in the app against your plan's overage rate before assuming anything changed on the Shopify side.
Invoice timing and proration questions
Looksy publishes its prices and overage rates, but when an app charge lands on your bill and how a mid-cycle plan change is prorated are handled by Shopify's billing system, not the app. If a charge appears on an unexpected date or for a partial amount, check the bill in your Shopify admin and Shopify's app billing documentation. Cancelling follows the same logic: the plan is monthly with no contract, so ending it stops the charge — the timing of the final line item is again a Shopify billing question.
